Use the city as your play space!

Ycity 2010 will take place in Næstved Friday 27 August – Sunday 29 August. During one weekend we will show how we can create our impact on the city through actions. We will make actions in the weekend and we will develop future actions.

The weekend has these themes:

• Dream Friday  – Feel it, bring it, try it: Introduction to Ycity, story sharing about good experiences in the city and test of city actions.
• Action Saturday – Play it, make it, do it: We create actions in the city.
• Succes Sunday – Share it, enjoy it, bring it home: Reflections on the actions and the next steps.

Actions
Saturday we will create actions out in city. We will develop actions during the weekend, but you are welcome to think about ideas. If you want some ideas for actions, you can look at the notes on Ycity Wiki from the Ycity Workshops 24 April and 19 June (DA).

Practicalities

• Date: Friday 27 – Sunday 29 August 2010
• Place: Næstved -we will have a base camp at “Ungdommens Hus”, Skellet 29, 4700 Næstved (link to Google Maps).
• Sign up: If you want to participate, you can sign up at this page.
• Participant Fee: It’s free to participate, but if you want some food there is a fee on 200 DKK (25 EUR).
• Arrival: Between 17 and 19 Friday 27 August.
• Accomodation: We will sleep at “Ungdommens Hus”. Bring a sleeping bag and a sleeping mat.
• Travel costs: Ycity 2010 is not supported by any funds, so you have to pay your own transportation. If you have problems with that, please contact Team Ycity at info@ycity.dk and we will find a solution.
• Food: Leave a note when you sign up, if you are a meat eater, vegetarian, vegan or flexitarian and if you have any special needs concerning the food.
