This is the story of a city, Ycity...

The city first appeared on Falster in Denmark in 2008. Young people moved into the city and they did a lot of funny stuff. But after some days it was over, and a year passed before the city appeared again at Musicon in Roskilde.

After several days toil and trouble the city was ready to the new citizens. The citizens came from far and near – from Germany, Denmark, Sweden and the Nederlands.

It didn't take a long time before the citizens got to know each other and became good friends. And then they could get to work. Every citizen had one dream each and that was the reason they came to the city. They got help by competent people to develop and perform their dreams. Some found out that they shared the same dream and cooperations got created.

Some citizens created an outdoor bar. Other did a dance workshop and painted on the walls. In the city there was space for everyone and no dreams were wrong. The citizens got tools to carry on their dreams when they returned to their local societies.

When the citizens had worked a lot there was time and space to just relaxe and spend some time with new friends.

In the evenings there was song, dance and party. Every morning the city was again ready to wake up and be there for the citizens dreams. But one morning is was over. The city said goodbye for this time and the citizens leaved. With them home they had the feeling that everything is possible...

Just wait and see – the city will rise again...
